I think we are finally seeing the effects of administration after administration, from Reagan to Obama, pushing the American middle class under the bus. From free trade (one-way, the U.S. is open but many other countries put up barriers) to tax policies that reward U.S. companies for closing factories and moving jobs overseas, the U.S. is in no position to be policing the world and spending billions in aid to other countries. Instead of focusing on these issues seems that all congress is interested in is talking about Rep. Weiner's mental issues.
